Medical team (verified 2026-07)
ARTbaby has no medical team of its own: IVF is outsourced to Innova Invitro, and the agency's own "associate infertility clinic" page deliberately avoids naming the partner clinic — the basis for our transparency downgrade (4 → 3.5). Its only credited medical figure, Medical Director Dr. Ketevan Osidze, is in fact the head of Innova Invitro (TSMU graduate; 3 PubMed-indexed papers, all in the local journal Georgian Medical News, e.g. PMID 20090150; speaker at the 2026 World Congress on Human Reproduction in Tbilisi; ESHRE membership claimed in directories only). Cross-affiliation warning: Osidze is simultaneously credited as medical director or partner doctor by at least four competing agencies (ARTbaby, SurMom, and per third-party directories also In Vitro Clinic, Happy Family and Pons Medical) — a textbook example of shared outsourced medical endorsement in the Georgian market. Dr. Tea Charkviani, listed by a third-party directory as an ARTbaby partner doctor, primarily practices at ReproART and also appears on Infinite Surrogacy's roster (directory self-description only). Founder Ravi Sharma holds a pharmacy degree and an MBA — not a clinician.
Multi-platform reputation scan (2026-07, re-checked 2026-07-07)
Our July 2026 check confirmed that ARTbaby / Surrogacy Centre Georgia is the Georgian branch of ARTbaby Global (ARThealthcare), an India-origin fertility-tourism brand headquartered in New Delhi, directed by Ravi Sharma (B.Pharm, MBA — not a clinician). Business Insider India (2022) reported the brand pitching its Tbilisi facility as an "alternative" after India banned commercial surrogacy; sister sites include ARTbaby IVF Centre in Delhi (artbaby.in, domain registered Nov 2010), ARTbaby Ukraine, ARTbaby Kenya (which, unlike the heterosexual-couples-only Georgia arm, markets to gay/single/LGBT clients despite Kenya having no surrogacy legislation) and artbabyeggdonors.com. The "since 2011" claim matches the Indian brand's start, not the Georgian entity: surrogacycentregeorgia.com was only registered on 2016-01-30 and artbaby.ge in 2019 (whois registrant: ART healthcare Georgia LTD). Reputation signals are thin and skewed to pay-to-list directories: FindBestClinic shows 4.2/5 from 10 reviews (apparently mirrored Google reviews, all 5-star), OVU.com displays 5.00★ but blocks direct access (HTTP 403), while MedicalTourism.Review lists the agency with zero reviews and no verification. No independent Reddit, Trustpilot, Russian-language (otzovik/irecommend) or Chinese-language (Xiaohongshu/Zhihu) user experiences were found — only a Zhihu directory post listing an older apartment address. At least three different apartment addresses appear across platforms. The official site has a machine-translated Chinese version with no WeChat or Chinese-speaking consultant. No lawsuits, regulatory actions or negative press specific to this agency were found; its Georgian company registration number and intermediary licensing remain unverified (pending verification via enreg.reestri.gov.ge). Interest-disclosure note: the agency's own legal-explainer pages are among the main drivers of "surrogacy still legal in Georgia in 2026" search results — the conclusion matches our independent verification (the 2023 draft ban was withdrawn), but the pages are commercially interested content and should not substitute for independent legal advice.
